The Wansheng Museum is located at No. 414 Xicheng Avenue, Wansheng Economic Development Zone. It is a member unit of the China Museum Association, a member unit of the National Industrial Museum Alliance, a science popularization base in Chongqing, and a humanities and social science popularization base in Chongqing. The total area is approximately 6500 square meters, and it was officially opened for free to the public in May 2017.

The Wansheng Museum is mainly divided into 7 exhibition areas, arranged on the second and first floors according to the visiting routes. On the second floor, there are four exhibition areas: "Mountain and River Scenery, Geological Wonders, Ba Liao Kaijiang, Qinzhou Smoke and Clouds, Villagers and Martyrs, Glorious Mulberry Zigzi, Cultural Splendor, and Nourishing Ancient and Modern Times"; The first floor layout includes three exhibition areas: "Wujin Township, Coal City Holy Flame, Military Industry Years, Steel Shield, Transformation and Development, and Butterfly City". The long history of Wansheng's establishment, its long cultural context, excellent traditional culture, and the great spirit of the people's struggle against nature and the prosperity and development of the country are concentrated in these seven exhibition areas.

The Wansheng Museum now has more than 6000 pieces of various collections, including paleontological fossils, inscriptions of the Song Dynasty, bronze wares of the Song Dynasty, iron coins, folk custom articles, old mine objects, and "third line" military and industrial objects, of which more than 250 pieces have passed the identification of municipal cultural relics experts. Four pieces/set of collections have been identified as Level II cultural relics, including the epitaph of Gong Qinian, a former scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty, the reclining stone lion of the Ming Dynasty, the "Mount Taishan Stone Gallant" stone carving of the 15th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, and the epitaph of Chen's wife of the Southern Song Dynasty, 35 collectibles, including the Song string patterned copper vase, the Ming Dynasty "Zhensai Huanhou Emperor Xiang Wei" stone tablet, and the Qing Dynasty Sanyuan Bridge stone lion, are national third level cultural relics. The fossils of the third period python are precious ancient biological fossils. In December 2017, two cultural relics, the "Song Dynasty's' Huzhou Zhenshi Family Nian Er Shu Zhao Zi 'style bronze mirror with handle" and the "Qing Dynasty Tongzhi Twelve Year Ban Coal Transportation Stone' Display Stele ', were selected as the" Treasure of the Town "in the collection of cultural relics in Chongqing.

The Wansheng Museum is a concentrated showcase of the local history and culture of Wansheng, showcasing the long-standing Ba Liao culture, Qinzhou culture, Hongmiao culture, immigrant culture, anti Japanese war culture, mining culture and other distinctive cultures of Wansheng.
